Germany Reunion - 20^th October 2018

Sgts' Mess Catterick Barracks, Bielefeld

The Germany Reunion dinner (organised by Ron Holmes) will be held in Catterick Barracks, Bielefeld on the 20^th October 2018. The dinner will be hosted by the RSM BFG WO1 (RSM) Si Nicholson RA and the guest of honour is the Commander BFG Brig Richard Clements, former CO 39 Regt RA.

This will be a historic occasion as the Sgts' Mess has become the collective of JHQ and Garrison Messes and is full of BFG History. The Barracks start to close down 2019, so you are encouraged to take the opportunity to get over to Germany for a last hoorah with a proper AC Germany dinner with all the trimmings.

The whole weekend would cost about 45 Euro. The Mess bar is the cheapest in what is left of NATO in Germany. See the calling letter attached which has all the details. Ten ACs have already booked to come so check your diaries and book your place at the table.

Lift to Germany

Dennis Norris is attending the Reunion and is driving over. If anyone wants to share he will be departing from the Manchester area on the Thursday night to catch the midnight ferry from Dover, returning on the Sunday evening ferry and back to Manchester.
